Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized Accounting Manager with experience in construction accounting. The ideal candidate must be able to manage the day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate billing, job costing, and compliance with owner and subcontractor requirements.

We are looking for a highly organized Accounting Manager with experience in construction accounting. The ideal candidate must be able to manage the day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate billing, job costing, and compliance with owner and subcontractor requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit lien releases
- Process subcontractor pay applications
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Job costing
- Monthly billing
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Payroll processing and payroll reporting
- Track change orders
- Monitor project budgets and costs
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare financial reports for ownership
- Maintain vendor files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and estimators
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Construction accounting experience
- Experience processing owner pay applications
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background
- Experience with lien waivers and releases
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with municipal or government contracts
- Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or similar construction accounting software
- Knowledge of Florida construction lien law
