Senior Construction Manager
Marc Rutenberg Homes — a long-established Pinellas County developer of prestigious communities
and builder of upscale custom homes — is seeking a qualified Senior Construction Manager to uphold
the reputation of our homes and deliver confidence and trust to our homeowner clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Schedule day-to-day construction operations, with weekly reporting to management and clients
• Oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Determine the equipment, materials, and manpower needed for each project
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered on schedule
• Prepare regular job status and progress reports for all stakeholders
• Identify and resolve issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Evaluate and mitigate project risks
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other project team members
• Participate in negotiating contract agreements with project vendors
• Obtain all required construction permits
• Allocate and manage resources so they're available when needed throughout each project
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality standards
• Address environmental or local community issues that arise during a project
QUALIFICATIONS
• Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, building codes, and safety practices
• Proficiency with construction management software, particularly BuilderTrend
• Proven leadership experience in a construction or project management role
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal reporting skills
